Ivy Safaris is an 8,000-acre game farm located 40 miles north of Polokwane, South Africa. This business exists to accommodate various types of hunters and to give them an authentic South African experience. The farm is run by Mark and Lisa Ivy who share and own the company. Both are very dedicated to giving you the best experience possible for the best possible price. There are two main types of hunting which are popular because the challenging nature of the hunt. The most common choice of hunting on the farm is shooting game, which includes a large variety of native South African game. Some of the common animals found on the property are Impala, Red Hartebeest, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Zebra, Kudu, Eland, Gemsbok, Waterbuck, Warthog, and Bushpig. Another choice available for hunters is wing shooting, which consists of hunting Frankylin, Guineafowl, and Dove. The farm has been very successful in maintaining proper breeding, which makes the hunts more enjoyable because of the numerous amounts of game available. Mark and Lisa offer luxurious accommodations for the hunters looking for a totally stress free and relaxing stay. Great meals, drinks, and lodging are just some ways you are looked after.
